My name is Ericka Wasko, I am a ceramic artist. I have always been captivated by the esthetics, skill, purpose, and psychology behind all works of art. For me, ceramics encompasses each of these aspects of creativity, it gives me a sense of achievement and fulfillment. I enjoy the feeling of clay in my hands, the therapeutic experience while working on the potter’s wheel, and the idea of making something functional and beautiful out of simple, natural materials. I recently graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art, and my plan is to pursue figurative ceramic art, and open a community studio.
